As a Security Officer Access Control in Springfield, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and employee access, and maintain accurate access records. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and help create a secure, welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing badges as authorized, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, helping to protect restricted production, warehouse, and shipping areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, gates, parking areas, and the business perimeter; document observations, incidents, and access-related activities in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
