Job Description
\nWe’re looking for an experienced Senior Estimator / Pre-Construction Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering successful Data Center construction projects.
\n \nThe Role:
\n \n• Lead and manage estimates for a range of commercial construction projects
\n• Prepare accurate estimates and supporting information from initial enquiry through to tender
\n• Complete detailed quantity take-offs, pricing and bid analysis
\n• Develop estimates across conceptual, schematic, design development and construction document stages
\n• Manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries, quotations and pricing
\n• Assess bids and ensure competitive and accurate pricing
\n• Identify value engineering and life-cycle cost opportunities
\n• Provide leadership throughout the pre-construction process
\n• Prepare detailed bid proposals and project schedules
\n• Develop schematic plans or sketches where required to demonstrate project approach
\n• Lead and contribute to estimating-related projects and initiatives
\n \nAbout You:
\n• 3+ years’ experience estimating commercial construction projects
\n• Strong experience across hard-bid, design-build and conceptual estimating
\n• Comprehensive knowledge of construction systems and disciplines, including mechanical and electrical
\n• Experience with self-performed concrete construction
\n• Strong understanding of construction costs, procurement and bidding strategies
\n• Experience estimating across all stages of design
\n• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
\n• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
\n• Confident working with clients, Architects, Owners and project teams
\n• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver accurate work under pressure
\n• Experience with modern estimating and construction software
\n• Degree in Engineering, Construction or a related field, or equivalent experience
