Manufacturing Engineer (Tooling)

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with strong tooling/fixture design and hands-on shop-floor experience . The ideal candidate will support fixture development, Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, time studies, and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing, assembly, welding, and inspection fixtures using SolidWorks.
• Create 3D fixture layouts, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and GD&T .
• Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams to validate fixtures and resolve shop-floor issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve process capability, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency .
• Develop and maintain Standard Work Instructions and Video Work Instructions .
• Perform time studies, line balancing, VA/NVA/RNVA analysis, and capacity analysis .
• Develop Current State and Future State Value Stream Maps (VSM) and identify bottlenecks and waste.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for defects, quality issues, and downtime.
• Support Kaizen events and develop improvement roadmaps.
• Design and improve fixtures based on manufacturing and production requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field .
• Hands-on shop-floor manufacturing experience Mandatory.
• Experience with fixture design and manufacturing .
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and GD&T .
• Experience with Time Studies, Line Balancing, and VSM .
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement .
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Kaizen .
• Ability to develop clear and effective Work Instructions .
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
