Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Location: Near Lafayette, CA Duration: September to January (Maternity Leave Coverage) Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week Caseload: 15-20 Students Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated BCBA to cover a maternity leave near Lafayette, CA, from September to January. This full-time position requires managing a caseload of 15-20 students, providing behavioral assessments, and working closely with educational staff and families to support students' behavioral and academic success. Key Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students. Provide consultation and support to teachers, staff, and families on effective behavior management practices. Evaluate and monitor the progress of students, adjusting interventions as necessary. Collaborate with IEP teams to develop and implement behavior goals and strategies. Train and guide paraprofessionals and other staff in the application of behavior interventions. Keep detailed records of student progress and behavioral strategies implemented.
