CarpenterWe are looking for both trim carpenters and framers.Essential functions of the position:Prepares reconstruction plans by following company procedures for returning a structure back to its original state before the damaged occurredProduces quality repairs by following company standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustmentsDetermines material requirements and dimensions of structure by studying blueprints, sketches, building plans, estimates and/or work ordersConstructs and/or repairs by marking cutting and assembly of materials; shaping materials to measurements; assembling and fastening; using carpenter's hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machineryConstructs, repairs, restores and installs structures such as floors, doors, walls, windows, stairways, furniture, cabinets, shelves and roofs. Carpentry workProjects and works with structural framing of building in both wood and metal, repairs and maintenance, demolition of horizontal and vertical structuresDemonstrates a positive image of the Company to staff and clients; this shall include oral and written communication and visual presentation. Insure the image is supported by the appearance and activities of the teams at job sitesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Ability to apply skills in the construction, repair, restoration and installation of wood or related materialsEstimate time and materials needed for assigned work projectsAccurately measurePerform handy-man and building maintenance tasksUse all hand tools, equipment and materials common to the tradeAssist in problem solving and in making the Company more effective and efficientWork on call and in emergency situations, as neededGenerate information within a reasonable time frame with accuracy and efficiencyProduce work in a timely, budgeted, scheduled and profitable manner for the CompanyApply safety procedures and principles on a daily basis and protect yourself and others from injuryProvide exemplary customer services to clients, employees and vendorsPay for position to be determined on experience qualifications.
