Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY applicants will be considered
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create individualized therapy plans and maintain accurate records

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students’ needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement IEPs
• Document progress, maintain compliance with all district and state regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
• Advocate for best practices in supporting students’ communication goals
• Offer guidance and resources to classroom staff for integration of communication strategies
