Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Resource Pool . This position is full-time and will float across multiple inpatient units at the hospital. Sign on bonus up to $20,000 with no contract required! Education Associates or Bachelor's Degree - Nursing (Required) Recent or upcoming graduates from RN programs will be considered. Certification/Licensure Registered Nurse (Required) Experience Previous acute care experience (preferred) Duties/Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
