Machine Operator/Material Handler - Second Shift

Material Handler

The Material Handler position will operate and interact with packaging equipment in a production environment. This will include operating packaging lines, handling material movements within plant, and working to complete production schedules.

• Operate with a safety-first mindset
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure all quality standards are met
• Operate equipment up to efficiency standards
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on packaging equipment
• Maintain 5S standards
• Operate powered industrial trucks
• Maintain cross training on multiple pieces of equipment
• Stay up to date with safety, LMS, and ISO trainings

What You Bring to the Role:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude
• Previous experience in team environments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with SAP
• Previous experience with scanners and WMS
• Forklift experience
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs, walk up and down stairs, stand and squat multiple times throughout shift

Environment: mostly indoors in a non-temperature-controlled environment (hot summers, cold winters). Travel Requirements: None
