Embark on a rewarding contract position serving young learners as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting near Staten Island, NY. Enjoy a structured full-time schedule from 8:30AM to 3:30PM, working closely with a dedicated PreK caseload of children ages 3 to 5 years old. Your expertise will positively impact early development, helping students build essential motor and adaptive skills.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in a school environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
• Passion for fostering independence and participation in young children
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to PreK students ages 3-5, based on IEP goals
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Assess student needs and maintain thorough records of progress
• Work directly within classroom settings and one-on-one as needed
• Educate families and staff on strategies to support student growth
• Attend team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
