Registered Behavior Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Solving Autism, LLC in the Fort Mill area. As a critical member of our team, you will work one-on-one with learners in their home, in the community, or in one of our clinics to provide ABA Therapy and implement individualized skill-building and learning opportunities. About the Role:

As an RBT at Solving Autism, you will:

• Work in a one-on-one setting to provide highly individualized skill building and learning opportunities in accordance with each child's treatment plan

• Implement positive reinforcement techniques and incorporate a blend of natural environment teaching practices with discrete trial instruction methods

• Collect data and assist with data analysis

• Participate in training and on-going support, which is paid time

Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience working with children, with priority given to individuals with experience working in ABA, with learners having Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, or behavior challenges

• Demonstrates strong communication skills and conducts themselves in a professional manner

• Operates as a member of a team

• Has reliable transportation

• Possesses a sense of humor and a strong work ethic

• Demonstrates skill in multi-tasking

• Shows flexibility in thinking and an open mind for continued learning

• Is willing to commit to this role for at least six months

• Completes and maintains First Aid and CPR certification (training provided) and completes RBT training (40 hours of online modules, paid training) and submits to the RBT exam, if not already certified
