Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Detail in Baton Rouge, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a respected financial services location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for an armed post at a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and established armed post directives.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other restricted areas, verify credentials and/or visitor access as required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns.
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in clear written reports, and communicate with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
