Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Management in Modesto, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors. Your visible presence, clear communication, and customer-focused service will help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation before permitting entry to controlled areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-control records in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
