MCM Elegante Hotel & Suites is hiring for a Sales Manager in our Sales Department. We are a full service hotel offering meeting space, catering, banquets and guest rooms. We also have a full service restaurant and lounge on site.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Make sales calls to new and existing customers. Establish and maintain close contact with accounts through a variety of methods. Cultivate leads, work with sales team on leads and follow ups to maintain sales goals. Network with prospects to uncover decision makers. Make cold calls via in person or phone to businesses. This is a working position and will require you to go out of the office to find leads or make phone calls to out of town companies or schools or business. You will need to research companies and find the best contact to speak with on their needs.

Prepare sales reports in timely manner, participate in networking events, qualify leads and prospects, market meeting space, sleeping rooms and banquet events, make and modify reservations.

Must have excellent communication skills including speaking, listening, composing emails. Phone and computer skills a must.

Knowledge of hotel industry with experience in a full service hotel preferred. Prior sales experience needed.

Energetic, motivational and willing to go extra mile to close a deal.

Must have a valid and current DL and reliable transportation. You will be making outside sales calls, doing weekly drive arounds to other hotels and attending networking events.

Must be able to work weekends and nights if needed for events.

Must be able to pass a background, drivers license, credit and drug screenings. Must present both your DL and social security card for this process.
