About the Role:
Shane Mason Insurance Agency Inc is looking for a motivated and personable Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing team in Plymouth, MN. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career helping clients protect what matters most — all while being part of a supportive, client-focused agency.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and generate new client leads through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
Consult with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
Sell personal and/or commercial insurance products including auto, home, life, and business policies
Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive retention and policy renewals
Process policy applications, endorsements, and changes accurately and efficiently
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and performance goals
Stay current on industry trends, carrier products, and state insurance regulations
Requirements:
Active Minnesota Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license (or ability to obtain)
Previous experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a related field preferred
Strong communication, persuasion, and customer service skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently
Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus
Ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse client base
