Experience in a similar nursing specialty. Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7. Experience with EPIC charting system. Description: This role requires a registered nurse specializing in PCU nursing. The nurse will work night shifts of 12 hours each. Every other weekend coverage is required. Floating within skillset is a necessity. The position focuses on the care of acute medical and neurological patients. The nurse will provide evidence-based care to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include cardiac monitoring and emergency response. The nurse will be expected to interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac conditions. IV therapy and phlebotomy skills are required. Nurses will manage peripheral line care and provide respiratory support. Isolation precautions are essential within the scope of practice. The role involves working with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care. Candidates must possess strong skills in managing acute neurological disorders. A commitment to high-quality, compassionate care is essential. Nurses should have experience with various medical procedures and protocols.
