Details Tech position within a hospital-based CT Scan department supporting adult and outpatient care Work performed across Level II Trauma Center, Emergency Department, ICU, and acute care settings 5x8 hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM Utilizes Siemens CT equipment EPIC EMR used for charting Performs procedures including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and vascular imaging studies Special procedures include biopsies, aspirations, drainage, brain perfusion, and CT arthrography May float to any campus within the health system as needed Requirements Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required BLS certification required License required if applicable Siemens equipment experience required EPIC EMR experience required Experience with iSTAT, Power Ports, and PPAC required Proficiency in peripheral IV starts and contrast media preparation/administration required Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE required Community hospital experience preferred Pediatric acute and outpatient care experience preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include image display and post-processing, 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurements Performs a wide range of CT studies including coronary CTA, colonography, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging All clinical staff must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered First-time travelers may be considered but must be able to quickly acclimate and begin the assignment within one week of the start date American Traveler Job ID P-745757.
