HR Risk Management Specialist

The Department of Revenue's Human Resources team supports employees throughout their careers while helping create a safe, healthy, and productive workplace. Within Human Resources, the Benefits and Risk Management team oversees programs that support employee well-being and help reduce workplace risk, including workers' compensation, return-to-work, safety and ergonomics, employee benefits, and related HR programs.

What You'll Do: The HR Risk Management Specialist serves as a primary resource for the Department's risk management programs. This position manages workers' compensation and return-to-work activities, supports workplace safety and ergonomics initiatives, analyzes risk-related data, and partners with employees, supervisors, HR leadership, and other stakeholders to identify risks and improve processes. The position also provides training and guidance on risk management programs and provides limited support to the Benefits Specialist as needed.

This is a remote position primarily conducted via telework/work-from-home arrangements. Occasional travel to a State or alternate location may be required based on business needs. The selected candidate must maintain Colorado residency throughout their employment and comply with all applicable State of Colorado and department remote work policies, procedures, and requirements.
