Job Description
Title: Nursing Assistant - Patient Care

Schedule: 0645-1915

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
1. Current Washington State NA-C Certification
2. One year of acute care or long-term care experience preferred
3. Current BLS Certification
4. Ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to waist
5. Ability to lift 40 pounds from wheelchair to bed level
6. Ability to lift 5 pounds overhead
7. Ability to pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed
8. Ability to push a 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
9. Flexibility: kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, squatting, climbing onto stretcher or bed
10. Auditory ability to effectively perform procedures and take adequate blood pressures
11. Adequate vision to observe patients and perform minimal charting activities
12. Ability to work as part of a team

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Monitor and report patient's vital signs and changes in condition.
- Support the nursing staff in delivering coordinated patient care.
- Assist with mobility and transfers of patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
