Customer & Technical Support Rep

Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer & Technical Support Rep for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and learning new technology in a fast-paced customer support environment.

As a Customer & Technical Support Rep, you will be the first point of contact for customers who need assistance with accounts, products, services, online platforms, and basic technical issues. You will use clear communication, patience, and problem-solving skills to deliver a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to customer inquiries through phone calls, emails, and live chat in a professional and helpful manner.
- Assist customers with account access, online platform navigation, product questions, and basic technical troubleshooting.
- Identify customer issues, walk customers through step-by-step solutions, and escalate complex concerns when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Build knowledge of products, services, systems, and processes to provide accurate support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and share feedback on recurring customer concerns.

Compensation and Benefits

- Starting pay: $14.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts.
- Shift availability: Candidates must be available to work shifts scheduled anytime between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Provide customer service and technical support through phone, email, and live chat.
- Troubleshoot basic customer issues related to accounts, online platforms, systems, products, or services.
- Document customer interactions, resolutions, and escalation details accurately.
- Manage multiple customer interactions and priorities in a fast-paced support environment.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers, navigating multiple systems, and learning new technology.
- Basic troubleshooting skills with the ability to explain solutions clearly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Patient, professional, and customer-focused approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a high-volume call center environment.
- Previous entry-level technical support experience.
- Experience supporting customers through phone, email, and live chat.
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems, online platforms, and support processes.
