Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise our recovery patients during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional post-operative care while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Provide continuous monitoring of post-op patients overnight. Perform focused assessments and document patient status (pain, vitals, mobility, drains, dressings). Administer medications as ordered and monitor for adverse reactions. Oversee compression devices, drains, and post-op garments. Respond promptly to patient concerns. Supervise support staff (CNAs/HHAs/LPNs) and ensure proper delegation of duties. Maintain accurate overnight records and provide thorough hand-off reports to the daytime team. Reinforce post-op instructions and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). 2+ years of clinical experience in post-operative, surgical, or acute care setting preferred. Strong clinical judgment and ability to recognize early signs of complications. Compassionate bedside manner with excellent communication skills. Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred. BLS and ACLS certification required. Schedule & Compensation Night Shifts available: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Sunday through Saturday Day Shifts available: 7:00AM - 7:00PM Saturday & Sunday Competitive compensation based on experience.
