Registered Nurse – Cardiac Step-Down

Schedule: Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM), typically working every 3rd weekend and covering 1 holiday per assignment.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years of cardiac step-down experience
• Experience with open-heart patients, ventilators, and Epic EMR
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac step-down patients.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, adjusting care as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care.
• Float to other units as needed during low volumes or staffing crises.
