This is a player-coach role: you will manage a team of 2-3 Business Development Managers across the region while carrying your own book of business. You are the person who builds the culture, sets the standard, and holds the bar. You know how to develop people and how to win accounts. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Development Recruit, onboard, and develop your team of Business Development Managers across the region Run structured 1:1s, ride‑alongs, and pipeline reviews to coach performance and identify gaps Set activity standards and hold the team accountable to CRM hygiene and pipeline discipline Identify skill gaps early and drive individual development plans for each rep Partner with operations and leadership on headcount, territory design, and market prioritization Personal Quota and Territory Carry and manage your own assigned territory and revenue target alongside your team responsibilities Source new opportunities through direct outreach, local networking, and industry events Represent Fortify at trade shows and industry events; convert activity into booked revenue Sales Process and Operations Maintain personal and team CRM records; ensure data quality across the region Partner with operations to deliver a seamless client experience from first contact through project completion Comply with all safety, driving, and jobsite requirements Qualifications 5+ years in field sales or account management with a demonstrated track record of building pipeline from scratch 2+ years managing or mentoring a sales team, formally or informally Experience in restoration, construction, facilities management, or the insurance ecosystem is a strong plus Excellent coaching, communication, and negotiation skills; confident in front of both clients and your team Consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota in a metrics‑driven environment Valid driver's license and comfort with regular travel across the region Proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform You’ll Thrive Here If You Are A player‑coach who leads from the front and expects the same from your team Someone who builds structure and holds people to it A strong communicator who earns trust quickly with both clients and direct reports Coachable upward and developmental downward; you take feedback and give it Collaborative and operations-oriented; you know the sale is just the start What We Offer Compensation Base salary $95,000 - $105,000 plus performance‑based commission on personal production Team performance bonus tied to regional revenue attainment Draw against commissions during ramp period Total on‑target compensation range after ramp period is $157,000+ based on performance Culture and Opportunity A role with direct impact where your pipeline drives real revenue across the branch The stability of a 30‑year‑old company with the energy of a growing national brand Career growth across multiple companies and markets under the Fortify umbrella PE‑backed growth with genuine advancement opportunity as we expand A team that values plain talk, hard work, and doing right by our customers Equal Opportunity Employer InsurcommRestoration and Fortify Companies are equal opportunity employers committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
