Software QA Engineer

Our startup client is developing off-grid communications technology for Adventurers, Firefighters, DoD, Rescue Operations, and more. They’re currently in need a Software QA Engineer to drive test initiatives across web, mobile, and hardware devices. Experience with mission-critical or regulated software development is highly preferred. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned QA Engineer to work on technology with meaningful real-world impact.

(Currently hiring Engineers based in San Francisco, CA and Chicago, IL; on-site 2-3 days a week)

An ideal candidate will have the following:

• 5-10 years of QA experience
• Background leading test automation initiatives
• Hands-on experience with modern testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Kotlin, JavaScript, Python)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience with satellite communication, IoT devices, and/or regulated software is preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment while ensuring efficient QA execution and timely releases
• BS degree in CS, Mathematics, or other STEM discipline
• Strong communication skills
• Collaborative mindset
