Corporate Attorney - Mid | Senior Level

Compensation: 310000.-435000. / Annually Our client, one of the largest, most prestigious law firms in the United States, has an immediate need for an experienced, Corporate Attorney , to join our winning team in Chicago. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS: Must have experience in mergers & acquisitions and other general corporate transactional matters. Experience managing the full lifecycle of a deal is a plus. Represents and advise clients in a wide variety of transactional and other corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, private equity investments, and joint ventures. Regularly counsel companies in connection with corporate governance, takeover preparedness and other corporate matters that do not involve pending mergers and acquisitions. Ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high quality work product and service to our clients. Assessing and advising on client and business conflicts Responding to discovery requests Ideal candidate would be familiar with ethics rules and be willing to take on a variety of tasks with significant responsibility and have excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing and presentation skills. Candidates must have a high level of academic achievement from an accredited law school and be admitted to the Illinois Bar.
