Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team in Fairfield, OH. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a vital role in our operations. The role is a 3-month contract-to-hire position, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the first shift.

Responsibilities

• Work in the yard and stage large pipes.
• Operate a sit-down forklift.
• Use saws to cut clean edges on pipes.
• Pull products from the yard to be loaded.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• Experience with general labor, construction, or production tasks.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively.
• Capability to read and measure with a tape measure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with concrete, packing, assembly, solar, and packaging.
• Skills in carpentry, cleaning, loading, picking, and unloading.
• Experience with material handling and general construction.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform clean-up and installation tasks.

Work Environment

Our work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring the use of various hand and power tools. The role involves outdoor work in the yard, handling large materials, and requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of Medgaurd steel toe boots. You will enjoy a standard workweek schedule from Monday to Friday, providing a balanced work-life experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
