Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts, 7:30–16:00 | 1 weekend day per week required, 1 full weekend per month (Friday–Saturday–Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe and timely patient transitions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or valid compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required and must be current at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department or Critical Care Unit (CCU)
• Epic EMR experience within the past 12 months, clearly documented on candidate profile; must pass Epic competency exam (one attempt only)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of overall nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous PACU-specific nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to float and adapt to varying unit needs within a facility
