Overview Plant Quality Manager Chicago (Midway Area) | Consumer Products | FDA | Manufacturing Leadership Help Build the Quality Organization—Don't Just Maintain It Our client is one of North America's leading contract manufacturers of consumer packaged goods, producing products for many of the world's largest household brands and retailers across laundry, household cleaning, personal care and OTC products. They're looking for a Site Quality Manager who wants to make an impact. This isn't a role where you'll inherit a mature organization and simply keep it running. You'll be expected to strengthen quality systems, develop people, improve processes, partner closely with Operations and help build a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility. What You'll Own Lead all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for the site Build a strong quality culture across manufacturing operations Coach and develop a team of QA professionals and laboratory staff Lead customer, FDA and ISO audits and inspection readiness Drive CAPA, deviations, investigations and continuous improvement Partner with Operations, Engineering, Regulatory and Supply Chain to improve plant performance Oversee laboratory operations, product release and quality systems Ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP and customer requirements We\u2019re Interested In People Who Have Experience With FDA-regulated manufacturing Consumer products, OTC, personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or contract manufacturing Leading Quality Assurance within a manufacturing plant Customer audits and regulatory inspections CAPA, investigations, root cause analysis and continuous improvement Building teams and influencing production to improve quality performance What Makes Someone Successful You're comfortable on the production floor You build credibility with Operations while maintaining high quality standards You enjoy developing people You aren't afraid to make difficult quality decisions when required Most importantly, you want to leave an organization stronger than you found it #J-18808-Ljbffr
