ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician

One Step Forward is hiring ABA Therapists / Behavior Technicians for current in home opportunities in North Bergen and Guttenberg.

You'll work one on one with a child with autism, helping build communication, social, behavioral, play, and everyday living skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You'll have the independence of working directly with your client while receiving ongoing supervision and support from an experienced BCBA.

This is a part time position with weekday afternoon and early evening opportunities.

What You'll Do

As an ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician, you'll provide direct one on one services using an individualized ABA treatment program developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You'll:

• Provide one on one in home ABA therapy
• Implement individualized treatment programs and behavior plans
• Help children develop communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills
• Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
• Use evidence based ABA strategies including reinforcement and prompting
• Collect accurate data to monitor progress
• Complete electronic session documentation
• Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA

Your Schedule

We're primarily looking for team members with consistent weekday afternoon and early evening availability.

These are part time, ongoing cases. Maintaining a consistent weekly schedule is important so that you can build a strong relationship with your client and provide continuity of care.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, professional, comfortable working one on one with children, and committed to maintaining a consistent schedule.

Reliable transportation is required for this in home position.

We currently have opportunities available in North Bergen and Guttenberg, with additional opportunities throughout nearby Hudson County communities.
