Position Overview BayCare Medical Group is seeking a motivated PRN Pediatric Hospitalist to play a pivotal role in supporting and shaping a brand-new pediatric hospitalist program at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to build, innovate, and leave a lasting impact on pediatric inpatient care. As a founding physician, the Pediatric Hospitalists will help establish clinical workflows, influence program development, and contribute to a culture of excellence from day one. Practice the Full Scope of Pediatric Hospital Medicine Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric care, including: Pediatric admissions and daily patient management Discharge planning and care coordination Pediatric emergency department consultations Collaboration with specialists and multidisciplinary teams Make an Immediate Impact Even in a PRN capacity, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality care and supporting the development of a new pediatric hospital medicine program. Work closely with nursing, care management, hospital leadership, and physician colleagues to promote best practices and optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Successful completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited residency in Pediatrics.
