Position: Java Developer (Backend)
\nLocation: Berkeley Heights, NJ (Fully Onsite)
\nDuration: Contract
\nJob Description:
\nA Software Development Engineer designs develops tests installs and maintains systems applications networks and or telecom and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business Assesses system application network and / or telecom needs provides modelling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality and evaluates and implement new advanced technologies Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables.
\nBasic Qualifications for Consideration
\nBachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field,
\n12 years relevant IT experience.
\n8 years of Java development J2EE Spring knowledge.
\nShould have Kafka knowledge.
\n8 years of experience in XML and JSON technologies.
\n4 years of Oracle database SQL development.
\n8 REST and SOAP API development experience.
\nExperience in reporting with JIRA and Confluence.
\nOperating Systems Experience with proficiency in UNIX Linux environment.
\nNeed Gen AI Agentic AI and prompt engineering knowledge.
\nSkills
\nMandatory Skills : Java Microservices, Spring Boot
\nGood to Have Skills : Git, JUNIT, Postman
