Swiss/ Turning Operator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$18.00 / hour
Full Time work available
Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:20am to 04:50am )

The Swiss Turning Operator is responsible for operating Swiss-style CNC turning machines to produce small, precision components.
This role focuses on quality production, basic inspection, and adherence to established processes.
Programming and full machine setup are not required.
Operate Swiss-style turning machines in a production environment Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, pin gages, and thread gages
Read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions
Perform or adjust basic offsets as required Deburr small, precision parts when necessary
Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and housekeeping requirements

Swiss/ Turning Operator Qualifications:

Experience operating turning equipment or CNC machinery
Basic knowledge of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, pin and thread gages)
Ability to read basic engineering prints
Familiarity with offsets or an understanding of how they are applied
Good visual acuity and attention to detail
Dependable, teachable, and punctual
Previous Swiss turning experience
Experience in a high?precision or small?part manufacturing environment
