Databricks Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced **Databricks Developer** with strong expertise in **Enterprise Architecture, AWS, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Data Lakehouse, and Integration Architecture**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and reviewing enterprise-level solution architecture, cloud environments, security, networking, data architecture, and integration patterns.

Experience in the **Pharmaceutical industry**, **AI platforms**, and **TOGAF** is highly preferred.

* TOGAF certification or framework knowledge

* Experience with enterprise data and analytics platforms

Roles & Responsibilities

* Define and lead **overall solution architecture** for enterprise data and analytics initiatives.

* Develop and maintain **reference architectures** aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.

* Review and define **cloud and Databricks environment strategies**.

* Design and review **AWS networking architecture**, connectivity, and related infrastructure components.

* Define and implement appropriate **security models**, access controls, and governance strategies.

* Review and design **Medallion Architecture** across Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.

* Design and establish **Unity Catalog taxonomy**, governance, data ownership, and access structures.

* Define scalable and reusable **integration patterns** for data and enterprise applications.

* Review technical designs and provide architectural guidance throughout implementation.

* Collaborate with engineering, data, security, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards.

* Evaluate existing architectures and recommend improvements for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

* Ensure Databricks and AWS solutions align with organizational architecture principles and governance requirements.
