Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 or 26 weeks available) | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit managing diagnoses including labor and preterm labor across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Perform circulating, scrub, pre-op, post-op, and low-risk antepartum roles as assigned
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support GYN surgeries, couplet care, and transition nursery as needed
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
• Safely administer high-alert medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
• Float to Post-Partum and potentially to a sister Labor and Delivery facility as operationally required; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered a local candidate; locals are accepted
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); up to 2 major holidays may be requested off upfront

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, and drain management
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
