Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 15-week travel assignment in Hawaii, requiring 2+ years of independent MRI experience and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Details

• Hospital-based diagnostic imaging department specializing in MRI
• Independently performs clinical diagnostic MRI exams in accordance with department protocols
• 4x10 hour shifts scheduled Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• At least one on-call shift required per week
• Work schedules may vary depending on staffing and operational needs, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Experience with GE MRI systems preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of independent MRI technologist experience
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS required
• Successful completion of an accredited MRI program with a certificate, associate degree, or equivalent; or completion of ARRT advanced registry in MRI
• A current State of Hawaii license in any radiologic imaging modality is highly desired — license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Independently performs clinical diagnostic MRI exams using standard or modified imaging techniques in accordance with physician-ordered procedures, protocols, and quality standards
• Travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of the assignment; this appointment takes place at Hilo Employee Health and attendance is mandatory
• Candidates should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before their Monday start date in order to attend the Employee Health appointment on Friday morning
