W2 contract || Network Engineer

JOB DETAILS:

Special Instructions: 6 and 12 month term, and outside of the Holiday weeks, 2 days a week scheduled onsite for this duration; Hours of operation are 6am-6pm PST and any upgrades or changes could typically happen early evening

Scope:

We are seeking a network-minded resource with a CCNA-level understanding of networking to provide onsite support. This individual will be replacing a full-time engineer who recently left and will have an escalation path to senior-level engineers when additional assistance is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide onsite network support and maintenance.

Perform network upgrades, refreshes, and moves/adds/changes (MACD).

Support day-to-day network operations and troubleshooting.

Escalate complex issues to senior-level resources as needed.

Assist with maintenance activities across the network environment.

Engagement Details:

Onsite support required during both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday seasons.

Approximately 2 weeks of support for each holiday period.

Expected workload of 20-40 hours per week during those periods.

Hours of Operation:

Standard operating hours are 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST.

Network upgrades, changes, and maintenance activities may occasionally be performed during early evening hours.

Skills Must Have

Required Skills:

CCNA-level networking knowledge.

General understanding of network infrastructure and support.

Experience working with network hardware, including:

• - Palo Alto
