Travel RN (Registered Nurse) ICU

Job Description:

An ICU Registered Nurse is needed to provide critical care and manage patients in a high-acuity environment. The role involves patient assessment, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and titrate vasopressors and sedation drips as needed.
• Conduct assessments and manage care for trauma, neuro-stroke, and head injury patients.
• Interpret telemetry strips and perform relevant interventions.
• Collaborate with intensivists and unit technicians to ensure comprehensive care.
• Float to PCU, CICU, tele, or medsurg units as required, ensuring consistent delivery of ICU-level care.

Requirements:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• 2-3 years of ICU specialty experience; travel experience preferred.
• Experience with ICP monitoring and ventilator management.
• Proficiency with Hamilton vents and Cerner charting system.
• COVID-19 vaccination and NIHSS certification required.
