Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)
Location: Southbury, CT
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: 3 Months
Pay rate: $17 - $21/hr. on w2

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) performs blood collection, specimen processing, and patient registration while ensuring excellent customer service, accuracy, and compliance with safety and confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens (including pediatric and geriatric patients)
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide professional, compassionate patient care
• Follow safety, quality, and company procedures
• Support clinical and forensic specimen collection as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred)
• Strong phlebotomy, data entry, and customer service skills
• Medical Assistant/Paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call if needed
