The Upstream Global Product Manager role for the High Voltage (HV) Therapies portfolio is based in either Sylmar, CA or Austin, TX within the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division.

This is a fully onsite role.

Upstream Global Product Manager – High Voltage (HV) Therapies will lead the organization in leveraging passion about healthcare and technology to impact patients' lives. The role will be the lead on establishing product strategy and new product development direction in the High Voltage (HV) Therapies portfolio for Cardiac Rhythm Management. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the new products or evolutions of existing products provide value to our various customers and improve the standard of care.

They will work to establish a cohesive vision and strategy on how the portfolio will position Abbott CRM for leadership and work with various stakeholders to ensure the right investments to develop innovative new platforms. This includes development of strategic marketing plans and activities that drive the flow of new products to our customers in a manner that addresses customer needs, and highlights differentiation and value.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree Related field or An equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Master's Preferred or MBA preferred
• Minimum 8 years related work experience.
• At least 5 years of exposure to sales and/or marketing in the following areas: healthcare, medical devices, or medical diagnostics to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.
• Understanding of the technology and capabilities of the Division's products.
• Understanding of market and customer dynamics. Understanding of sales processes.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting medical devices/diagnostics.
• Ability to lead and influence without direct authority. Ability to work independently and in groups. Ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to apply analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications, whether verbal, written or in presentations.
• Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software.
• Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to travel, approximately 40%, including internationally.
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
• Adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner and meeting assigned deadlines.

The base pay for this position is $114,000.00 – $228,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
