Contract | Midshift (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department serving newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Administer and titrate required drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation agents
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun as needed
• Float to other units as required and adapt to variable scheduling within a 64-bed department
• Demonstrate charge nurse capability when called upon

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse license (verified via NURSYS)
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience, including some pediatric experience
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Current NIHSS certification
• TNCC certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Charge nurse experience in an emergency department setting
• Experience managing complex drip protocols including TNK, Heparin, and Insulin infusions
