Procurement Specialist

EthosEnergy is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role is responsible for end-to-end procurement and supplier management to support manufacturing, repair operations, and customer order fulfillment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring material availability, optimizing supplier performance, and supporting cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance. Qualified applicants will have 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or a related function. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering strongly preferred.


Job Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms to achieve cost-effective and reliable supply solutions
• Issue and manage purchase orders for production, repair services, and non-stock materials in alignment with company policies and approval authorities
• Act as the primary point of contact for supplier communication, resolving issues related to pricing, delivery, technical requirements, and material availability

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related function
• Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supply chain operations, and inventory management principles
• Experience using ERP systems and procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to complex supply and demand challenges
• Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, contract management, and vendor relationship development
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, engineering, finance)

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
