Job Description

The position provides clinical support in a fast-paced neurosurgery, spine, and pain management practice. Key responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients and obtaining/documenting vitals, medications, allergies, and medical histories
• Performing patient intake and clinical triage
• Assisting physicians with examinations, procedures, and injections
• Preparing procedure rooms, trays, and maintaining appropriate sterile technique
• Preparing patient charts with imaging, referrals, operative history, and outside records
• Supporting pre-operative and post-operative patient care and coordination
• Assisting with pain management procedures and operating/positioning the C-Arm under physician direction
• Maintaining radiation safety and proper fluoroscopy procedures
• Coordinating referrals, imaging, home health, and specialty services
• Responding to clinical patient calls and messages
• Maintaining accurate EMR documentation and following HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and practice policies
