Interviewing and hiring practices at DeRoyal do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status or any other category protected by law. 3525 - 3201 - QC Specialist II Monday - Thursday 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Perform necessary functions, including testing and inspecting at various stages of the production process to determine and maintain high quality and reliability of finished orthopedic goods Establish and maintain device master records to include monitoring product labeling and inserts. Perform periodic in-house inspections to ensure compliance to procedures. Originate and maintain raw material specification files. Assist in handling customer complaints regarding products; including completing necessary paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner. Provide assistance in preparing and implementing procedures and specifications concerning products. Review new products and proposed changes to existing products. Monitor product labeling and inserts. Participate in vendor and/or internal audits, as required; Assist in performing corrective actions for internal and external audits. Consolidate and present information for corrective and preventive action Management Review meetings. Perform inspection and approval of raw materials; Notify vendors of quality issues and submits samples as necessary. Perform in-process and/or final inspections of products on a daily basis or as needed. Work with manufacturing staff on quality related issues; Train work force as required in quality standards and procedures. Ability to use ten-key, fax machine, office copier and computer required. Requires experience in Microsoft office. Require good organizational skills as well as the ability to work well under limited supervision. Professional attitude and appearance are necessary. Require flexibility, dependability and the willingness to take direction.
