Responsibilities As a member of the Pharmacy Department reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, the Clinical Coordinator for Critical Care participates in critical care rounds and serves as a resource for best practices and safe and effective medication use across the Garnet Health System. Key responsibilities include: Participate in daily critical care rounds. Provide expertise on medication therapy management and clinical decision support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Respond to codes (Code Blue, Code Trauma, Code Neuro) and work with the MERT team to manage medications during emergencies. Assist in developing and updating clinical guidelines and protocols. According to New York State law on salary transparency, the range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay or other compensation. Factors such as location, specialty, service line, experience, education, credentials, contracts and budget may influence final compensation. Qualifications Minimum Education : PharmD and successful completion of a PGY1 Residency. Minimum Experience : Clinical rotations required to fulfill the educational component. Required Certification/Registration : Current and ongoing NYS Pharmacist License and Registration. Physical Requirements : Stands, walks, sits throughout the day; visual acuity required for close computer work and report preparation. Working Conditions Work in a clean, well‑lit, heated or ventilated facility with no routine exposure to hazards. On‑call availability required; may be required to report on‑site if operationally necessary. Demonstrate full anatomical range of motion, visual and aural acuity, and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment; lift up to 10 lbs. Respond to Codes and participate in critical care rounds daily. Handle physical demands of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods. Handle mental demands including multitasking, prioritizing, working under pressure, synthesizing new information, and maintaining sensitivity to customer needs.
