Overview

Aerotek is hiring entry-level and experienced Carpenter Helpers for commercial construction projects throughout Worcester, Newton, and Framingham. This role focuses on wood framing and prefabricated wall panel installation on large-scale commercial projects. Responsibilities

• Assist with wood framing on commercial construction projects
• Cut, measure, and install lumber as directed by lead carpenters
• Help construct stairs, rafters, and other framing components
• Install prefabricated wall panels and trusses
• Support multi-family and commercial wood framing activities
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all job site safety requirements and OSHA regulations

Requirements

• OSHA 10 Certification (Required)
• Own basic hand tools and PPE
• Reliable transportation to travel between multiple job sites
• Wood framing or general construction experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable performing physical labor in varying weather conditions
• Commercial construction experience is a plus

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Taunton, MA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
