Experience a workplace where safety, efficiency, and meaningful personal connections define every day, enriching both our teammates and the communities we serve.Nucor Towers and Structures (NTS) is a new entity within Nucor, the largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products in North America, focused on the exciting growth potential in the power distribution market.Basic Job Functions:Load, operate, and maintain robotic plasma and weld cellsOperate crane, forklift, and other heavy equipmentOperate robotic cells according to production schedules and standard operating proceduresLoad raw materials and components into fixtures or machinesMonitor plasma and weld quality and perform basic visual and dimensional inspectionsPerform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to ensure proper operationFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work areaDocument production data and report issues to supervisors or maintenanceAssist with changeovers, setups, and basic preventative maintenanceSafety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications:Experience reading drawings, prints, and weld standards6 months of welding experience1 year of robotic welding experienceWillingness to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends, if requiredPreferred Qualifications:Manufacturing, forklift, and overhead crane experienceMIG flux core welding experienceABB robotics experienceNucor is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace
