Salary: $120,328 - 141,128 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 7 years of related experience designing, programming, and supporting software applications.
• Alternatively, we can consider candidates with a technical training program plus at least 4 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, we can consider candidates with a bachelors degree or higher in information technology or a related discipline such as engineering, math, or science, plus at least 4 years of related experience.
• We are looking for someone with a bachelors degree.
• Experience in test automation for .NET-based applications is highly relevant.
• Familiarity with Reqnroll or SpecFlow-style BDD automation is strongly preferred.
• Experience with API, integration, and functional test automation is important.
• Background working with CI/CD pipelines and test reporting is valuable.
• Ability to document frameworks, patterns, and onboarding materials is expected.

• We will lead and implement automated testing with Reqnroll for .NET services and workflows, including test structure, step definitions, and project standards.
• We will collaborate with developers and QA partners to shape risk-based test scenarios and strengthen coverage.
• We will build and sustain automation across API, integration, and functional layers, focusing on high-risk areas and acceptance criteria.
• We will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so results are visible, repeatable, and actionable.
• We will evaluate existing automation methods and recommend a practical modernization approach, including migration planning and parallel validation when needed.
• We will provide regular updates on testing and automation progress, highlight risks and blockers early, and help define exit criteria and the testing definition of done.

We are seeking an IT Software Developer in Test Sr. contractor to help us elevate test automation for our .NET-based violations processing applications, with an immediate emphasis on implementing Reqnroll for scalable, maintainable automated testing.
