The posted compensation range of $52.04 - $77.42 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS), you will perform vital clinical laboratory procedures to detect, identify, measure, and report data crucial for disease diagnosis and treatment.

Every day, you will expertly conduct waived and moderate procedures using technical skills, instrumentation, and information systems, providing essential clinical laboratory support while ensuring the quality and accuracy of all tests under leadership direction.

To be successful in this role, you will possess comprehensive knowledge of laboratory principles across various disciplines (microbiology, blood bank, hematology, chemistry, etc.), understand sample processing and result interpretation, prioritize chemical and biological safety, and be adept at operating and maintaining lab equipment.

Minimum one year of experience in an acute care facility required.

Bachelor's Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA

Must be appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as evaluated by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory

California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS) required.

A current Los Angeles County fire card is required.
