Finishing Specialist - 1st Shift

JOB TITLE: Finishing Specialist 
PAY RANGE : $20-$25/hr | SHIFT: 1st / M-F 7:00AM - 3:30PM

QUICK SUMMARY 
Prototek is hiring a Finishing Specialist I to support sheet metal production by ensuring parts are properly finished, marked, assembled, and prepared for delivery. This role is critical to maintaining part quality and supporting on-time shipments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, versatile, and comfortable working across multiple finishing processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform silkscreen, part marking, and engraving
• Support plating, painting, powder coating, and hardware installation
• Assemble, label, and prepare parts for shipment
• Follow prints and finishing procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

REQUIREMENTS : 

• 3+ years finishing experience in manufacturing preferred
• Blueprint reading and basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to push, pull or lift 50 lbs. moderately throughout the workday
