Employee Experience Specialist

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday or Tuesday - Thursday (8:00AM - 5:00PM)

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $35.00 Per Hour Based on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Employee Experience Specialist to support employee engagement, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and people operations. This role partners with leaders and employees to create a positive workplace culture, improve the employee experience, and ensure consistent HR practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Experience & Engagement

* Coordinate employee recognition, engagement, and culture initiatives.

* Gather employee feedback through surveys and recommend improvements.

* Support communication and programs that strengthen employee satisfaction and retention.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

* Manage recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate coordination, and interview scheduling.

* Partner with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.

* Lead onboarding activities to ensure a positive and successful new hire experience.

Performance & Development

* Support performance review processes and employee development initiatives.

* Track training completion and identify development opportunities.

* Provide guidance and resources to managers on employee growth and performance.

HR Operations & Compliance

* Maintain employee records and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.

* Support benefits, leave administration, onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.

* Assist with compliance, policy updates, and documentation management.

Employee Relations

* Serve as a resource for employee questions and workplace concerns.

* Support investigations, documentation, and policy interpretation.

* Promote a professional, respectful, and inclusive work environment.

Process Improvement & Analytics

* Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience programs.

* Track key workforce metrics and prepare reports for leadership.

* Support the use of technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.

* 3-5+ years of experience in HR, Employee Experience, People Operations, or a related field.

* Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.

* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

* Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

* HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

* Regular use of a computer, phone, and video conferencing tools.

* Occasional walking throughout office or operational facilities.

* Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
