Warehouse Associate

Job Details Location: Greenville - Greenville, SC 29615 Position Type: Full Time Shift: Day Category: Warehouse The Warehouse Associate helps protect inventory, receives, loads, and unloads materials. He or she must appropriately handle all materials following company policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace and may need to drive a company vehicle occasionally. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in a warehouse environment. He or she must have the strength and stamina to perform the duties of this position (standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.) and must have a forklift certification (or be willing to obtain our internal certification). Effective oral and written skills, good time management, speech, and behavior are all required for this position. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus but not required to be considered. All Warehouse Associates are required to wear steel toe boots for safety purposes. Responsibilities Loads and unloads goods and supplies ensuring proper handling at all times Moves goods within the warehouse as needed, using a forklift as required Follows all safety policies and procedures May be required to make deliveries or pick up materials and return to warehouse using company vehicle Other duties as assigned Benefits Bi-weekly payroll via direct deposit Eligible to participate in group health, dental & vision insurance plans after 60 days full-time employment Supplemental life, accident, cancer and short-term disability insurance available after 60 days full-time employment Retirement Plans: Employee Stock Ownership Plan and 401(K) with match Paid Time Off (PTO) from first day of employment Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse environment and with floor coverings highly preferred Sit-down forklift experience Excellent communication skills Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds Strong physical stamina and strength for standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling Forklift certification or willingness to obtain internal certification Effective oral and written skills, good time management, speech, and behavior required Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus Wearing steel toe boots required for safety purposes #J-18808-Ljbffr
